The music of Finnish legend Kaija Saariaho has been heard all over the globe, touching the hearts and minds of audiences as far south as Australia.
In celebration of her widespread influence and inspiration, Australia’s leading new music group Ensemble Offspring pair treasured Saariaho works with chamber music commissioned by Ensemble Offspring from ‘Down Under’.
Unified by themes of nature, Red Earth & Luminous Horizons highlights universal concepts through the shared language of chamber music.
